Instrumentation BackGround

My Background is Instrumentation and Electronics. Graduated from Diploma in University of Indonesia and Bachelor Degree from same University.

First i want to say about Instrumentation, what is that? how to be a good Instrument?
Instrumentation is how you can build a system to control the Equipment or industrial stuff.
What kind of instruments? Level Transmitter, Flow Meter, Digital indicator, Ultrasonics Sensor,
Proximity, Alarm, Actuator, Cylinder, etc.

So, after we have a project from the manager, first thing that we action is to ask to our manager what do you want from this project? what is the benefit the project for our company? how long you give me to deliver the project?

after you have the answers, second thing is....
To Design the System, simple like; input --> Converter --> Controller --> Output/alarm.
but sometime you need a feedback from the output.

Input: proximity sensor, Ultrasonic sensor, Differential Level Transmitter, Flow Meter...
Converter: sometime you need this but sometimes doesn't, pH converter(from pH sensor)
Controller: PLC or simple Controller like UT551 from Yokogawa
Output: Cylinder, Motor, Rotary Lamp, pump, Solenoid Valve, Ball Valve, etc
